There’s something so special about lifestyle sessions. They are a little slice of your family history. They will not remember these first months and they may never fully understand how tiny they were, but having these photos will be some fun proof to show them.
Belle was such a little doll baby and so good. She slept the whole session.
Momma, look back on these photos when they get a little older and seem to be constantly fighting. Remember how sweet big brother was and how kisses were constant.
Such a perfect little family. How cute are they?
This sweet baby girl is so loved.
Got some shots in some of the favorite spots of their home, doing things that are meaningful to them. Reading and snuggling in bed, playing piano and just being together.
If you are interested in Lifestyle sessions I’d love discuss your vision! Anything that is special to your family can be documented in a way that is beautiful.
The Wilson family braved the cold with me! It was a bit misty too, but we toughed it out and got some special shots that can be cherished forever!
This little area in Mount Vernon is so great, just a short trail right off the road. The leaves are always beautiful in the fall every year and the light is perfect when it isn’t overcast of course! I also love that there are never very many people there. I think it may be a secret gem!
We got some shots of just mom and dad too and they were adorable, despite being cold!
How adorable is this little eskimo? Love that smile.
Before the holiday’s I got to spend some time with this beauty. The leaves were right at their peak in color and it was so beautiful, but a bit cold. That means cozy snuggle breaks in between shots! I’m a little bias when it comes to Fall babies since I’m one, I admit, but still, how gorgeous is she?
We got some smiles, piggies and even some z’s.
and right at the end we got some golden light. Perfect! <3 ‘Momma’s little ray of sunshine,’ was all I could think when I was shooting those last shots at sunset. So sweet.
Sweet baby girl, the perfect addition the Jordan family. She is so loved and looks so perfect in pink. Snuggling her was such a joy. A great way to get rid of baby fever.
Momma did her room mermaids and beach so we used some coral and shells. We didn’t go nuts with the mermaid theme, just kind of hinted at ‘beach-y.’ Ugh, how perfect is she?
I had to be quick with brother, we all know this age doesn’t stop, but how cute is Westen? He will be such a great big brother! We did this session while I was visiting in FL, but I’m excited for them to all come to WA for their next orders! Watching my clients grow is the best.
This couple was so fun to work with! Just easy going and sweet. We spent the sunset walking on a local trail near the water, it was a gorgeous evening and perfect light! You never know what you’re going to get here in WA so I was pretty happy!
Tristan and Legend are newly weds, and new to WA state. Let the adventures begin!
Both are used to being in the country so this is new for them, but you’ll never really take the country out of them and that’s the way it should be!
We had a little fun with silhouettes at the end, they turned out pretty cool!
Before you cancel your session for rain, consider that fact that after a storm the sky can be epic. Didn’t take much convincing with my bestie of course, she knows how this goes! It’s worth it in the end so many times.
This session we waited for the rain to pass and soaked up those last precious rays of light that leaked through.
The girls brought their umbrellas just in case. It was basically the cutest thing.
Such a beautiful family.
It got a little bit chilly by the end of our little walk. Dad gave up his shirt for the girls to wrap-up in and snuggle and then rushed them off to the car.
Many of my newborn clients are new to the world of custom photography and have so many questions about what actually happens during their session. Many times the only photos they’ve participated in since Senior photos, if they were so lucky, we’re they wedding photos. Well, here is a little behind the scenes:
I absolutely love watching my clients’ families grow. I’m so lucky to be able to create art with the beauty of life. This is Karley Jo and she was a joy to snuggle. Of course, every baby I shoot is precious to me, but she was especially easy going.
Momma told me teal & purple. This is what I put together for this sweet session:
She totally rocked these colors. <3 She did not want to open her hands or put her tung away but she worked it! Hehehe
She slept through out the whole session even the parents shots and sibling shots and gave us many smiles!
For the siblings shots I had very little time because this little guy is only 18 months so he was not going to participant for long. I love how much of a little chunk he was! Just the cutest!
He got the opportunity to shoot a little outside also since it was a hot day! Shooting newborns outside is so awesome. I wish I could do it more but I feel like sometimes the stars need to align for it to work out, since it needs to be the perfect conditions.
I know it’s still Summer and the livin’s easy but before we know it we are going to be feeling those cooler breezes, shopping for warmer clothes and watching the leaves change. It’s my favorite time of the year! Leave your photos in the hands of a Fall expert. 😉

This little stinker made me WORK for my money! She was like, no touch-y… But she did love being wrapped up nice and snug. I love getting some awake shots if they are happy, I mean, how adorable is she!? Those lips are so beautiful.
She fought for an impressive amount of time, but when she knocked out we made magic. <3
Such a perfect, tiny, little thing. 6 pounds right there!
Welcomed by all. So, so loved. We had to get some shots with Auntie and Grandma since they were there and looking photo-ready.
